Justice Saugata Bhattacharyya directed police to arrest Porel and another accused, and to seize electronic devices to stop the spread of alleged private material linked to the complainant. Police told the court a pen drive had already been seized and sent for forensic examination.

According to the complaint filed at Mogra Police Station, a woman alleged that Porel established a physical relationship with her on the promise of marriage. The complaint also contains allegations of criminal intimidation and the recording of intimate moments. The complainant alleged that Porel threatened to make private photographs public.

She further alleged that she was assaulted and confined during an incident in Delhi on April 2, 2026, denied food, and later needed medical attention. These are allegations in a complaint. They have not been established in court, and Porel remains an accused. He has previously denied the allegations and said he would respond in detail after the police inquiry.
